Day 01 : MON : Bangalore Depart :
Self Report by 4.30 pm at Hotel Taj West End ,Bangalore for check in
formalities of Golden Chariot Train Tour,followed by Hi-Tea & brief
presentation.
Proceed for culture program & arrive by 8.00 p.m. at Yashwantpura
Railway station for traditional welcome & be escorted to your respective
cabins.
Dinner on board.train & departs by 9.00 p.m. from Bangalore
Day 02 : TUE : Drive From Mysore / Kabini - Overnight Stay
Train arrives early morning at Mysore Station.
After breakfast,pack for overnight stay at Kabini Lodge;
Drive 2.5 hrs from Mysore Station to Kabini Forest Reserve & check-into
forest lodge.
After lunch,enjoy afternoon excursion to Nagarhole Tiger Reserve
Day 03 : WED : Mysore Palace & Srirangapatna Fort
After early morning boat ride in Kabini River,pack your bags & drive
back to Mysore Railway Station & board the Golden Chariot Train
Later,proceed for excursion to 18th century Fort of Srirangapatna,famous for
defeat of British army at hands of legendry Tipu Sultan. Also visit ,late
19th century built Mysore Palace,with rare collection of paintings,artefacts
& crystals

04 : THURS : Hosalya Temples & Jain Monolith
Morning excursion to Shravanabelagola,.for steep uphill climb to view
gigantic 17 metres high naked monolith statue of jain Monk,Gomateshwara
Later visit,intricately carved temples of Halebid & Belur,built under
royal patronage of Hosalya Kings in 12th century.
Day 05 : FRI : HAMPI - UNESCO World Heritage Site
Hampi was capital city of once mighty Vijayanagara Empire, and ruins of
Palace Complex,spread over acres of boulders, leave you awestruck
Also visit 15th century built Vittala Temple ,with array of giant granite
pillars & the iconic Stone Chariot,after which your train is named
Day 06 : SAT : UNESCO World Heritage Site of Badami and
Pattadakal
Morning visit to cave temples of Badami,dating back to 6th Century A.D &
hewn out of sand stone on the precipice of a hill.
The most stunning carving is that of Lord Shiva,with 16 hands, in his
Nataraja Cosmic dance pose
Later,proceed for excursion to 8th century built Pattadakal ,offering
unique confluence of Dravidian (Southern) and the Nagara (Indo-Aryan) styles
of temple architecture.
Day 7 : Sun : GOA Golden Beaches
Morning excursion to UNESCO World Heritage site of late 16th century built
Portuguese churches
Afternoon at leisure in sea side resort hotel
Day 8 : Mon : BANGALORE Return
The train arrives back at Yashwantpura Railway station,Bangalore by 11 a.m.
Check-out on arrival.

Booking Procedure :
For Bookings requests on Train Tour.
- Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of MINIMUM 20% Advance Deposit
with Names of Passengers.
- Balance payment with Passport Details must reach us 45 days before
Tour Departure Date.
- If booking request made less than 45 days before tour departure
date,we will require full 100% payment to confirm the booking.

Cancellation Rules :
1. Cancellation Request for Golden Chariot Train Tour must be sent in
writing.
2. If cancellation request received anytime before 61 days of Tour
Date,MINIMUM 5% of Total Tour Cost will charged as cancellation Fee.
3. If cancellation request received between 60 to 31 days before Tour
Date,MINIMUM 20% of Total Tour Cost will charged as cancellation Fee.
4. If cancellation request received between 16 to 30 days before Tour
Date,MINIMUM 50% of Total Tour Cost will charged as cancellation Fee.
5. If cancellation request received less than 16 days before Tour Date,Full
100% of Total Tour Cost will charged as cancellation Fee.
IMPORTANT :
- Golden Chariot Train will only operate ,subject to having minimum
passengers.
- Facility to book part journey may be possible,subject to occupancy on
the Golden Chariot.
- Disputes,if any,are only subject to jurisdiction of New Delhi(India).
- At present,there is no concept of Tour Insurance in India.
